Eartha, a smiling planet characterAsk Eartha

Accuracy

Eartha's answers are AI-generated, and AI can be confidently wrong. Here is exactly what we do about that.

How published answers are reviewed

  1. Every page in the questions library is written to a fixed structure and fact-checked by a person before publishing.
  2. Figures and claims are kept simple and only included when we are confident they are correct.
  3. Each page shows a visible "last reviewed" date, matched by the dateModified in its structured data.

Live answers are different

Answers generated live in the Ask Eartha app are not reviewed before you see them. They are fenced to nature and science topics and written for children, but they should be read alongside a grown-up.

Report a wrong answer

Email accuracy@askeartha.com with the question, what looked wrong, and the page link if there is one. We aim to reply within five business days and correct or unpublish anything inaccurate.

Reports from teachers are especially welcome — they have made several of our explainers clearer. See also how Eartha works.
