Is the Earth going to be okay?
Quick answer from Eartha
Yes, Earth is going to be okay, and so are we. Earth has been changing for billions of years, and right now lots of people are working hard to look after it. Scientists, farmers, families and kids like you are all part of the team helping our planet stay healthy. 🌱
The longer story
Earth is a strong old planet. It has seen ice ages and warm times before, and it keeps going. Right now, Earth needs a bit of extra care because of the extra heat being trapped in its air blanket.
The really good news is that millions of people already know about this and are doing something about it. Scientists are inventing cleaner energy, communities are planting trees, and countries are making promises to look after the air together.
You don't have to fix everything by yourself, not even grown-ups can do that alone. Everyone doing their small part adds up to something big, kind of like how lots of raindrops make a whole rain shower.
If you ever feel worried about Earth, that just shows how much you care. Sharing that feeling with a grown-up you trust can help it feel lighter, and together you can find a helpful way to act.
